For this steel production project, the customer from **India** was planning a workshop upgrade focused on improving heavy component handling efficiency inside a newly expanded rolling and fabrication area. The steel mill mainly produced structural steel sections and heavy welded assemblies used in infrastructure and industrial construction projects across western **India**.
After reviewing the customer’s production process, our engineering team recommended a **25 ton double girder overhead crane** with a 25/5 ton dual-hook configuration. The customer specifically needed a crane capable of handling heavy steel beams with the main hook while also supporting lighter maintenance lifting tasks using the auxiliary hook.

The workshop layout inside the steel mill in **India** had several production zones operating simultaneously, including plate cutting, welding, assembly, and temporary storage areas. The 17.7-meter span of the **25 ton overhead crane** allowed the crane to fully cover the width of the workshop while maintaining safe movement clearance above production equipment.
One important challenge discussed during technical communication was the lifting height requirement. Since the customer stacked finished steel components vertically before transport, the 24-meter lifting height became critical for efficient workshop operation. The **25 ton double girder overhead crane** allowed operators to move long steel sections safely without interfering with nearby production lines.
Before shipment to **India**, all main girders, end beams, and electrical components were inspected and tested under load simulation conditions. Export packaging included reinforced steel supports, moisture-resistant wrapping, and separated electrical cabinet protection suitable for long-distance transport.
After arrival at the customer’s facility in **India**, the installation team completed runway alignment, trolley calibration, and full-load commissioning. Test lifting operations included oversized fabricated steel beams to verify crane stability and positioning accuracy.
Several weeks after commissioning, the customer reported that the **25 ton double girder overhead crane** significantly improved internal material flow and reduced handling delays between welding and assembly stations.
